The preparation of your substrates is vital to making this specialist coating adhere in the correct manner and North Wales Spraying pride themselves in their attention to detail to the preparation prior to Spraying our specialist coatings.

How We Prepare Surfaces Prior To UPVC Spraying

  • Step 1 – Clean And Clear
When our team arrive on site, they will assess the job, look extensively at all areas where preparation and spray painting is going to take place to make sure all your items are either stored well out of the way or covered up to eliminate paint slashes, dust and debris, you can then be satisfied that your property is properly protected with masking materials whilst work takes place.

  • Step 2 – De-Grease and Clean
Our team will give all areas that are due to be sprayed a thorough clean using our specialist cleaning solution and painters wipes. This is an important part of the process to remove all dirt and debris that has built up on the surface over the years, We spend as much time as is needed to get it to the standard required so we can progress to the next stage.

  • Step 3 – The ‘Key’ Step
We progressively rub down all areas with light abrasives to give all surfaces that are due to be sprayed the key you need for the spray to bond to the substrate UPVC plastic.
  • This step allows the coating to have excellent adhesion which gives us the peace of mind that the spray paint will adhere to the surface correctly allowing it to bond properly for a long lasting perfectly flat finish that looks great!

  • Step 4 – Masking Up
Whether we are spraying windows, doors or conservatories, We mask up all the render or wall areas where we will be spraying with precision masking lines.
  • We also mask up all the glass to the windows with precision so they are not only protected from any over-spray, They also have perfect masking lines ready for the paint application which as a result will look perfect once the masking is removed.

  • Step 5 – The Spray Coatings
Once all the Preparation is complete and we are happy, our fully trained spraying specialists will give your UPVC a mist etch primer coat so we can assure the paint adheres to the UPVC surface.
  •  When satisfied our sprayers will give 2 additional coatings on all areas of your UPVC. The job will now visually start to look like its progressing well.

  • Step 6 – The Cleaning Process
When we are satisfied the coating is dry, we carefully remove all the masking tape and put all our specialist equipment away and leave all areas clean and tidy. It’s at this point you can take a step back and see the finished product and the transformation that has taken place.

  • Step 7 – After Care

We will have one of team attend soon after the job is complete to make sure you are happy with the coating and the job is up to the high standards we set out.

Only when you are satisfied, we will encourage you to leave feedback on our reviews page and recommend us to your friends.

3-Reasons Why A Spray Finish Is So Much Better Than Brush Painting?

1. Smooth Finish:
A spray finish will give you a smooth finish on the surface compared to when you brush-paint.

When you brush-paint, you will find that over time dirt will get into the lines and become ingrained in the surface and will start to look dirty in appearance and compromise the colour of what is painted.

This won’t happen with a sprayed finish because dirty particles can’t settle on the surface meaning it has maximum chance of retaining that immaculate finish and keep its colour for a lot longer.

2. Huge Range Of Paint Colours:
Spraying your UPVC windows and doors is becoming a popular choice for home owners who want to give their UPVC a brand new look at a fraction of the cost of replacing your windows or doors.

You can also change them to the colour of your choice. We have some great popular colours we can recommend you.

3. Hard Wearing Product’s:
We use all different types of specialist paint coatings including single-pack,two-pack, zinsser all coat, high performance lacquer’s that are all unique to each surface we are dealing with,

You can be sure your windows will stay looking fresh for a long time and give your home the transformation your looking for. We use only the best product’s for the best result’s on all jobs we attend.

Your friends neighbours will be envious of how well your Windows look after being sprayed in our chosen professional UPVC spray coating.

Before

After

UPVC Door Spraying:

Spraying your UPVC doors from tired looking faded white to a new colour will result in a brand new looking door.

The spray finish gives the impression of a pre-finished door in appearance that looks like new.

We use either a single pack acrylic or a two pack acrylic where this is entirely the customers choice.

The only difference with the two paints is the cost of the paint where the two pack is more expensive but you can expect it to last longer than the single pack acrylic.

That said the single pack acrylic also does the job perfectly fine and will last for years to come.

UPVC Window Spraying:

Spraying your UPVC windows will give the front of you house a great look at a fraction of the cost of replacing windows.

Just changing the colour of your windows gives your property a totally different look of the appearance at the front of your home.

Your windows are one of the first things people notice so why not change the colour to give your house kerb appeal.

We again use a single pack or two pack acrylic to spray your windows.

You can expect a great finish from either product that will last for years to come.
